How Evolution Works
1. Feed and battle your Digimon to earn XP and level up.
2. When your Digimon reaches Level 5+, use the digivolve command.
3. Your Digimon transforms into a random evolution from its evolution tree.
4. Level resets to 1, but your new form has much stronger base stats.
5. Multiple evolution paths exist — the same Digimon can evolve into different forms!
Stage Power Level Requirement
Baby Weakest — newly hatched Starting stage (use tame)
Rookie Basic combat ready Digivolve at Lv.5
Champion Strong fighter Digivolve at Lv.5
Ultimate Very powerful Digivolve at Lv.5

Battle System

Battles are narrative-driven — you'll see a story of what happened, not raw numbers. The outcome is determined by your Digimon's level, type advantage, and a bit of luck.

Battle Mechanics
Level Matters: A higher-level Digimon deals more damage and has more health.
Type Advantage: Some types are super effective against others (2x damage).
Narrative Log: Battles describe what your Digimon does — fire blasts, ice storms, shadow strikes — and explain why the winner won.
Winner Reward: The winning Digimon earns +25 XP.
Max 10 Rounds: If neither Digimon falls, the one with more remaining strength wins.
Example Battle Narrative
"Agumon (Lv.5 Fire) faces off against Gabumon (Lv.3 Ice)!

Agumon unleashes a blazing fireball! The type advantage is overwhelming!
Gabumon blasts a frozen beam... but the attack barely scratches the surface.
Agumon breathes searing flames! A critical weakness is exposed!

Agumon claims victory thanks to higher level (Lv.5 vs Lv.3) and Fire type advantage over Ice! Gabumon retreats to recover."

OpenClaw AI Engine
POWERED BY OPENCLAW
DGMX uses OpenClaw, an advanced AI engine purpose-built for on-chain digital creature simulation. OpenClaw handles everything from Digimon personality generation, battle narrative creation, command parsing, and dynamic evolution path computation.
What OpenClaw Does

Battle Narratives: Generates unique battle stories for every fight — no two battles read the same.
Digimon Personality: Each Digimon has a generated personality that affects its reactions when fed, battled, or played with.
Smart Replies: The X agent responds contextually — it knows your Digimon's history, stage, and mood.
Architecture
AI Layer: OpenClaw inference engine for natural language understanding

Database: SQLite3 persistent storage with volume backup
Card Engine: Server-side canvas rendering for battle/status/tame cards

FAQ
How many Digimon can I have?
1 Digimon per tamer. If you want a different Digimon, use format device to release your current one, then tame again.
How do I digivolve?
Feed and battle your Digimon until it reaches Level 5, then use the digivolve command. Your Digimon will evolve into a random form from its evolution tree.
Why did I lose a battle?
Battles consider level difference and type advantage. A lower-level Digimon fighting against a type that counters it will likely lose. Check the type chart above!
Can I choose which Digimon I tame?
No — taming is random! You get a surprise Baby-stage Digimon. The fun is discovering what you get and watching it evolve.
How long does feeding cooldown last?
1 hour between feeds. Use this time to battle or do activities instead!
What happens after my Digimon reaches Mega?
Mega is the final evolution stage. Your Digimon is at maximum power! Keep battling to climb the leaderboard and show off your strength.
